Went in for a drink at the bar to escape from the rain. The decor caught our eye and we had to stop in! Service was friendly and drinks were consistent We didn't eat there but it was a fun spot to drop by for a drink

3.5 stars There was at least a 45 minute wait on an early evening weekday when I came, which isn't bad (but I didn't have a lot of time). So, I went around to the side window and peaked in and took a few pictures instead and saved a few bucks on a drink 2023 #85

December in Rolf's!!! The most beautiful decorations. Overheard that it took 6 weeks to complete everything! The food was ...okay. I couldn't get a good impression since I had to ask for gluten free so most of the sauces were removed. The drinks were awesome though! The best part was definitely the service: everyone was so kind, working together to give you the best experience while trying to maneuver through small walkways. They also offer to take your photos despite all the people around. Would 100% recommend!!!

Ho, Ho, Ho Merry Christmas This review is For Santa and the Beer Experience, not the food. I have read all the well intentioned Yelp reviews of Rolf's, but would like to unwrap a 4 star Christmas present for this Noel experience. First off, you must see the over the top ceiling ornaments and Christmas lights. They are gorgeous and will immediately put you in the mood. Add on a large Stein of assorted Hofbrau beers, a schnapps and a holiday cocktail and you are ready to drink in the lights, have a few laughs and meet tourists from around the world. Yes, the steins of beer are $31, but they are very large and will take you an hour to drink and are ice cold. So, go check it out. There may be a short line to get in / it's well worth it.

We really wanted to visit Rolf's and enjoy the Christmas vibes, but the reviews gave me a little pause. I'm really glad we went, it was a solid experience. First let me say that it's a tough gig for this restaurants. A small place making an attempt to turn a lot of tables. You book a reservation and wait online for 20+ minutes past the reservation. It is part of the attempt to keep things going at a volume. But setting that aside it's a great experience. The inside of the space is spectacularly over done. It's Christmas in every direction. An old tight little space, but clean and decorated to no end. It's a feast for your eyes and worth what it takes to get into the place. Now the food is solid traditional German. We really enjoyed the potato pancakes and the French onion soup. Both done well and a good start to the meal. We ordered the Wiener Schnitzel, Beef Stew, and Sausage platter. They would do any German pub justice. The sausages were really solid, served with Pork and sauerkraut as a side. The sureness of the kraut went well with the sausages and a good spice mustard combined for a good German sausage fest. The beef stew served with spatezel was great as well. What goes better with beef stew than a little potato dumpling. It's a great and enjoyable pairing. The Wiener Schnitzel was also solid and enjoyable, nothing to complain about. You certainly need to add a German Hefe Weizen or dunkel, or better yet both... Having Weihenstephaner on tap is a great add for Rolf's. Give it a shot, be brave and enjoy!

This is an extremely kitchy Christmas overload restaurant/bar. Our intention was to go and have a bite to eat . However, we were told you must have two entrées if you want to sit in the restaurant unfortunately, we had just come from a big lunch so we transitioned into the bar area and met some wonderful people chatted them up, had a great drink and just took in all of the Christmas abundance. " it's kind of like if Christmas got drunk, and threw up all over the place" I will say, I was very impressed with the fact that there was no noticeable dust on any of the Christmas bliss hanging from the ceiling .
